PPLSI, the parent company of LegalShield and IDShield, and a champion of equal access to justice and security, has named David MacLean as the company’s Vice President of Strategic Growth within the Business Solutions division. In the newly created role, MacLean will oversee strategies to continue driving membership growth and lead B2C marketing and communications designed to bolster member retention.
MacLean brings 30 years of executive management experience in employee benefit sales, communications, and account management. Most recently, as PPLSI Business Solutions Vice President of Sales, he was instrumental in establishing the company as one of the nation’s leading legal and identity theft benefits providers among top brokerage firms.

PPLSI has a block of more than 35,000 employer groups offering LegalShield and IDShield protection plans as employee benefits. Over the past three years, the PPLSI Business Solutions division has seen employer group memberships grow by over 36 percent.
